Adoption Process:
If you see a dog you are interested in adopting, please fill out the adoption application located here------> Adoption Application
Applications must be completed in full, partially filled out ones will not be considered. Applications will not be considered if you have not read the dogs bio in full and do not meet the requirements for that specific dog.
Once we receive the completed application we will contact your references. Once approved we will contact you to set up a visit with the dog(s).
****Please do not show up without a scheduled appointment or approved application. All dog viewing is by appointment only as we work other jobs as well.*****
ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:
-Primary applicants must be 21 or older and provide photo ID upon adoption
-Please read through a dogs entire bio before applying so you know that you fit the specific needs and requirements for that dogs new home,-Dogs living in the home currently that are over 8 months old must be spayed/neutered unless medically unable.-Please do not apply for a dog if you are unable to adopt within a week. We are unable to hold dogs due to our small size. Dogs coming into us are coming from local shelters that are euthanizing for space so holding a dog for an extended period does not allow another dog to be saved.
Animals may not be adopted as a "gift" for someone unless all family members are aware of the adoption and meet the animal before the adoption takes place
Dogs must not be left crated for more than 8 hours.
If you have a current pet, they must be up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered. This includes cats. Dogs must have annual vet exams. If renting, approval from the landlord is required to keep the dog on the premises. If you have a current dog, your pet must meet the new pet before the adoption is finalized to make sure they will be compatible to live together. You will bring your dog to our facility for the meet. We cannot travel to you.If you adopt from Fetch A Friend Rescue and you cannot keep the pet for any reason, you must return the animal to Fetch A Friend Rescue. There is no guarantee that because you apply for the dog that you are going to adopt that dog. We seriously consider all applications but if we should suggest another dog for your home, it is because we truly know these dogs and possibly there is another dog that is a better fit. We strive for as best of a match as possible. Proper placement takes into consideration many things, including size, male/female, activity level, children and ages of the children, fencing or lack of, amount of time dog will spend home alone, and many other considerations. When a dog is posted we may receive up to 20 applications in a matter of hours. You will receive an email if selected to come and meet this dog.

ABOUT ME!: Adorable brindle boy Gus is the sweetest boy who just wants to please his people and play with all of the dogs he can! Poor Gus has been waiting one year for his forever family. He has really blossomed here into a super social dog who loves daycare and plays well with dogs of all sizes. He has never met another dog he didn't like! He is definitely a friend to all and even does well with cats! Gus is seeking an active dog owner who understands how much exercise and daily enrichment a young athletic dog requires. This guy does not want to sit home alone all day being bored. Gus wants to be out on hikes, going to daycare, and getting his daily mental enrichment treats and toys. He unfortunately was not getting these things in his home and was chewing things he should not have. Gus absolutely needs to be crated when he is home alone for his own safety. He is perfectly content in his crate with his durable toys and does great. He would also be happy to be at doggy daycare during the week as well!
Gus is housebroken, incredibly loveable, and more than ready for the right family to come along! He loves women most and is pretty terrified of men. He will instantly approach any female with zero hesitation! He will not go anywhere near men and is extremely terrified of them. He is never aggressive towards them, and can handle being seen by one at the vet etc. He just simply does not ever warm up to them to ever become comfortable being around them. He will need a female owner with no men in the home for his ultimate comfort and happiness. He is a sensitive soul who will cower when a voice is raised. Gus just wants stability, routine, belly rubs, kisses, and doggy friends to be happy! Gus is neutered, heart worm negative, current on all vaccinations, microchipped, and on parasite prevention.

ABOUT ME: Poutine is an absolutely beautiful girl with the most gorgeous coat and eyes! This sweet girl was roaming the streets without an owner and made her way into someone's fenced yard. She decided that is where she wanted to stay and was playing in the back yard with that family's dogs and even wandered right into the home and was playing with them and their toys. The family sadly could not add her to their family so she was sent to animal control to wait for her family who never came. No one ever came for her and she was transferred to us to find a new forever family. Poutine is an incredibly sweet girl who makes friends with any dog that she meets! Big or small she is great with them all! She loves going to doggy daycare and making new friends each day! Poutine loves to chase a ball in the yard, go for walks, and get lots of belly rubs! She is a large dog who needs to gain about 10 more pounds. She walks wonderfully on just a harness and will not drag you down the street. Poutine would love to find a family that will keep her active and love her lots!
Poutine is spayed, current on vaccinations, heart worm negative, dewormed, microchipped, and on parasite prevention.

ABOUT ME!: Adorable Cheeto, like his brother above is a unique mix of a little bit of everything! This cutie is all ears! Despite everything that makes him up, it seems as though he is going to be a medium sized guy! He has a small frame and pretty small feet! He is 7 months old so we are thinking he is going to be around 40 pounds maybe! Cheeto is an incredibly sweet puppy who loves everyone he meets, is very eager to learn and is working on his basic commands, walks well on the leash, loves making dog friends and going to doggy daycare, and will need to establish a house-training routine once he is in a home environment. He is not a big chewer at all and is a smart, food motivated boy who should be a breeze to train and make an excellent adventure buddy! Cheeto is a high energy breed looking for an active home to keep him busy!
Cheeto is neutered, current on all vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, and on parasite prevention.

ABOUT ME: Judd is a sleek black dog with gorgeous soulful eyes who came to us from animal control when his owner could no longer provide for him. Judd is an eager to please, intelligent boy who loves to learn, completed a basic manners course, walks well on leash, and is just the happiest, sweetest gentleman! He approaches each training session with enthusiasm and has a gentle nature when taking treats. He has a remarkable ability to make friends with all- human, canine and feline! Judd is housebroken, crates well, rides great in the car, and has been around horses without issue. Judd would be the ideal family dog, hiking buddy or road trip companion. He can be initially shy towards men but will quickly warm up for some treats and a walk! He would ultimately thrive in a family or a big family as he has so much love to share!
Judd is neutered, current on vaccinations, heart worm negative, dewormed, microchipped, and on parasite prevention.

ABOUT ME!: Adorable Paulie is an incredibly happy young man who has essentially grown up in a shelter. Despite never having a home and originally being found as a young pup on the side of the road Paulie is full of love and happiness. He literally loves everyone he meets, is great with all dogs and even cats! Paulie loves going for long walks and has had great success with recall. He has learned some basic commands and just needs a family to help him learn new things and burn off that puppy energy! He would love a home with another dog and has gotten along with dogs of all sizes. He enjoys doggy daycare very much, loves to play fetch and will also entertain himself with his toys too! He is still just a pup and will need to be crated when home unsupervised until he learns the rules and boundaries and potty routines. Paulie will absolutely make a fun companion to any family wanting a happy, friendly young pup in their life!
Paulie is neutered, current on all vaccinations, heart worm negative, dewormed, microchipped, and on parasite prevention.

ABOUT ME!: Pretty Pearl is an active little lady seeking an active family! Pearl is a quiet, happy girl who is always smiling! Pearl enjoys other dogs of all sizes and is also good with cats! Pearl keeps a very clean kennel here and does not have accidents but will need to learn a potty schedule in a new home of course. She loves going on long walks, racing around a big fenced yard, making new friends, and LOVES toys! She will do best with older kids due to her high energy level and definitely needs a home that is going to provide her with the exercise outlets she needs as well as mental stimulation. ABOUT ME!: Princess Kate came to us as part of an abandonment case we helped. Their breeder had a house fire, and a kind friend took in his 2 litters of puppies. Fast forward to a year later and the breeder never came back for them. The court has finally allowed the friend to find them new homes, but these dogs have spent a year of their lives living in crates. The kind woman who took them in works two jobs and was doing this temporarily to be nice and this took over her life having to care for 12 puppies who are now a year old. She did a wonderful job and Kate is an incredibly sweet happy girl who loves everyone she meets. She gets along very well with other dogs, loves playing with toys. and loves the water! Kate is looking for a home with breed experience. She is looking for the best new start to her life! She is seeking a home with a large yard to run and play in. She is not house broken due to living in a crate so long and all during puppyhood. She will absolutely need time and patience to work on that with her as well. If you plan to crate her for 8 plus hours during the day you likely won't be coming home to clean crate right away. She absolutely knows how to do her business outside; just needs help and reinforcement to know that is the only place to do it. Despite her very large size, she is quite the gentle giant! She loves getting and giving lots of kisses, and is a very quiet girl!
Kate is spayed, current on all vaccinations, heart worm negative, dewormed, microchipped, and on parasite prevention.
